    Thu 24 Oct 2019

    We have reached half term. Attendance has been above out target for the whole of this part of the term. We currently stand at 96.7%.

    We had 7 out of 10 classes above our target of 96.5%!

    Classes with attendance above our target of 96.5% are;

                                                                       Kane (Yr6) with 97.5%

                                                                       Perry (Yr4) with 97.3%

                                                                      Fry (Yr5) with 94.2%

    Overall we have done well this term!

     However we would have done better however we have had 16 children taken out for unauthorised holidays throughout this half term! We appreciate that family time is important however government legislation states that there is no entitlement to this! If you are thinking of booking a holiday please do not do this in term time!

    We hope you have a good week off! As always, thank you for your support!

  • Attendance for 10-10-19 to 17-10-19

    Heading towards the end of term now.

    Attendance this week has remained stable. We remain at 96.8% which is still above our target of 96.5%, so this is pleasing!

    We still have a few children being pulled out of school to go on unauthorised holidays. Please be reminded that this is not acceptable. It affects your child's learning and their attendance as well as their classes' attendance and the whole school attendance.

    This week we do have some excellent attendance! 8 out of 10 classes were above out target! Which is fantastic!

                                                                  Irwin (Yr4) with 97.6%

    Classes with good attendance are;

                                                                  Lester (Yr3) with 96.6%

    Let's hope that the Year 5 classes can do better next week! It would be nice to get all ten classes above our target for the final week before half term.

    As always, thank you for your support in bringing your children in to school as much as possible.

    Our fifth week back has been and gone.

    Whole school attendance this week is 96.9%, which is still above our target of 96.5%. Well done!

    This week we have 6 out of 10 classes above our target which is very good.

    The attendance for a couple of our classes have slipped due to children being taken out of school for term time holidays. What a shame!

    We would like to remind you that according to government legislation, holidays are NOT permitted in term time. There is no entitlement to do this.

    So classes with excellent attendance that are above our target are;

                                                                     Perry (Yr4) with 97.7%

                                                                     Imafidon (Yr4) with 97.2%

                                                                     Kane (Yr6) with 96.8%

    Classes that are below our target of 96.5% are;

                                                                                Willingale (Yr3) with 95.9%

                                                                                Fry (Yr5) with 95.7%

                                                                                Peake (Yr5) with 95.6%

  • Attendance from 19-09-19 to 26-09-19

    Fri 27 Sep 2019

    Another week has gone passed. This week we had good attendance again. Overall we had 97.2% which is even better than our target of 96.5%! Go Alderton!

    This week we had 8 out of 10 classes over our target of 96.5%! Wow!

    Aldrich-Blake have amazed us again with 100% attendance for the fourth week in a row. How excellent is that!

    Our classes that had amazing attendance were;

                                                                                Rowling (Yr6) with 99%

                                                                                Irwin (Yr4) with 98.8%

                                                                                Perry (Yr4) with 97.7%

                                                                                Peake (Yr5) with 97%

                                                                                Fry (Yr5) with 96.7%

                                                                                Imafidon (Yr4) with 96.7%

                                                                                Kane (Yr6) with 96.6%

    We had two classes below our target this week;

                                                                               Willingale (Yr3) with 96.1%

                                                                               Lester (Yr3) with 93.5%

    Willingale was so close to our target! Let's hope that these classes can achieve our target next week!

    It would be amazing to get all 10 classes above our target.

    Just a gentle reminder about punctuality, we have had some children late to school this week. We know that this can sometimes be unavoidable, however there are some children that are late a lot. School starts at 8:40 and children that are late might miss some of their learning.

    As always, thank you for your ongoing support in getting your children into school.

  • Attendance from 13-09-2019 to 19-09-2019

    Fri 20 Sep 2019

    Attendance from 05-09-2019 to 13-09-2019

    We had two classes that had excellent 100% attendance for this week!

    These classes were; Aldrich-Blake (Yr3) and Irwin (Yr4).

    Well done!

    Special mention to Aldrich- Blake who have had 100% for the last three weeks! What an achievement!

    We also had several classes that had great attendance that was over our target of 96.5%!

    These classes were; Peake (Yr5) with 98%

                                      Rowling (Yr6) with 98%

    Well done!

    Unfortunately we also had a few classes below our target.

    These classes were; Lester (Yr3) with 96.4%

                                      Perry (Yr4) with 96.1%

                                      Imafidon (Yr4) with 95.8%

                                      Fry (Yr5) with 95%

                                      Kane (Yr6) with 94.6%

                                      Willingale (Yr3) with 93.9%

    Oh dear! Hopefully those classes do much better next week!

    Overall the whole school attendance is 96.7%, which is good and above our target. Let's hope we all keep it above 96.5%.

    As always, we appreciate your support on getting your children into school so they can learn and experience new things.
